Homeless of Columbus: Community Kitchen X-mas Party

On Friday December 23rd, the Community Kitchen had it's 15th annual Christmas Party. By 9 am there was a line going to the otherside of the parking lot despite the freezing temperature. "The line used to run all the way down to Livingston Avenue." One man tells me between puffs on his cigarette. The event was not just for the homeless it was for those who would otherwise not be able to afford to have a christmas. After a hot lunch, those who attended were led upstairs to get a bag of presents that were donated and wrapped.

Here are some of the images I captured.
